Homini Publishing House was founded in 1995. We offer monographs in humanities - classics, theology, history of ideas, philosophy, literary criticism, some branches of musicology and history. Our books are often the first ever Polish-language publications covering a given field. Translations of works by Thomas Merton (American thinker, theologian, mystic and poet) constitute a significant part of our offer. In 1999 editor-in-chief Krzysztof Bielawski initiated the Polish Thomas Merton Society, affiliated to the Publishing House.
